How Can You Help?
The SAVE TURTLE ORGANISATION (registered as Chráníme mořské želvy) is a Czech (EU) nonprofit organization founded in 2017. Together with Indonesian and Sri Lankan conservationists, we protect nesting beaches from poachers at six sites in Indonesia and three sites in southern Sri Lanka.
We teach local communities to create souvenirs from sustainable materials — such as coconuts — instead of turtle shell. We educate children about nature, the ocean, and conservation.
SUPPORT FINANCIALLY
Every month we send about $2,800 (approx. 65,000 CZK) directly to protect beaches, educate children, and support community development.
Even 50 CZK (about $2) a month can truly help. Thank you!
Ways You Can Help
Adopt a Turtle Egg
On the black market, poachers sell one turtle egg for $2. We can save it. Conservationists relocate eggs to safety.
50 CZK (~2 $)
Adopt a Clutch
A clutch contains about 100 eggs. Poachers sell it for $100. For $20, you save them all.
500 CZK (~20 $)
Support Education
Education is key. You provide one month's salary for a teacher.
3,000 CZK (~120 $)
Support a Ranger for a Month
A ranger's average monthly salary is around $200 (depending on location and season). By covering this, you help long-term conservation.
5,000 CZK (~200 $)
SPREAD AWARENESS
Raising awareness is one of our top priorities. The more people hear their story, the stronger our impact becomes.
