The controller of your personal data is Chráníme mořské želvy z.s., Company ID: 06608477, registered office at Žižkova 479/28, 289 22 Lysá nad Labem, registered in the Register of Associations kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section L, File 69495 (Controller, we or us).

You provide your personal data voluntarily. If you choose not to, we cannot send you our newsletter or issue a donation confirmation.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to occasionally send you news about sea turtle conservation, our projects and fundraisers. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Donation confirmation. If you ask us to issue a donation confirmation for tax purposes, we need the following:

For individuals:

  3. permanent address,
  4. email address for sending the confirmation.

For legal entities:

  3. company ID and tax ID,
  4. email address for sending the confirmation.

We also process the amount and date of your donation. The legal basis is compliance with our legal obligations under tax and accounting law.

Protection of our rights. Where necessary, we may process your personal data to establish or defend our legal rights. The legal basis is our legitimate interest.

How long we keep your data

We process personal data electronically and have taken technical and organisational measures to protect it from misuse or leaks.

  • Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Donation confirmation data is kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Who we may share your data with

We may share your personal data with processors who provide us with newsletter, IT, accounting and other support services, always only for the purposes above. If we transfer data outside the EU, protection is ensured through standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
